INGREDIENTS:

Crumble Topping

¼ Cup Old Fashioned Oats

¼ Cup Flour

¼ Cup Brown Sugar

3 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter (melted)

Bars

1 14 Ounce Package Stauffer’s Lemon Snaps

½ Cup Unsalted Butter (melted)

¼ Teaspoon Salt

3 Cups Strawberries (chopped)

¼ Cup Sugar

1 Tablespoon Cornstarch

DIRECTIONS:

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Crumble Topping

Combine topping ingredients in a small bowl and stir to thoroughly combine then set aside.

Bars

Drop the lemon snaps into the bowl of your food processor and buzz until they are in fine crumbs.

Pour lemon snap crumbs into bowl then pour in melted butter and salt. Stir to thoroughly combine.

Press lemon snap mixture into an 8"x8" baking pan. Make sure that the layer is even and well packed into the pan.

In another bowl mix the strawberries with the sugar and cornstarch. Make sure that the berries are evenly coated with the  mixture (this is what's going to help thicken the filling).

Pour the strawberry mixture into the pan with the lemon snaps crust and make sure that it's all level in the pan.

Sprinkle the topping generously over top of the strawberries.

Pop into the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.

The dessert bars are done when the topping is lightly browned.

Remove from oven and let cool before cutting into bars.

Notes

You could make this with blueberries if you like. Just sub the same 3 cups of fruit.
