Why is Animal Crackers® becoming Simply Animals®?

Simply Animals® is the next chapter of classic animal crackers and cookies families have loved for generations. The familiar taste, crunch, and playful animal shapes remain the same.

The new name celebrates what they’ve always been: simple, fun snacks – now paired with friendly characters like Bryson the Bear to spark imagination and add joy to snack time.

In short, it’s a fresh look and clearer name for the same beloved snack you’ve been enjoying all along.

Will the taste change?

Not at all. You’ll still get the same delicious flavor and crunch you expect from your favorite animal crackers. Simply Animals® looks a little different, but the snack inside is just as good as ever.

Are the animals shapes the same?

They sure are. All 13 of the classic animal shapes are sticking around, so our favorite animals are still part of every bag. Look for the bear, buffalo, camel, cat, cow, donkey, elephant, goat, hippo, horse, lion, rhino and tiger!

Is the packaging different?

Yes, the packaging has a refreshed look. You’ll notice updated graphics and a new matte finish, along with Bryson the Bear. At the same time, the familiar Stauffer’s® name stays front and center, so it’s still easy to spot on shelf.

Where can I find Simply Animals®?

Simply Animals® is available at grocery and convenience stores across the country. Use our store locator to find a location near you.

Will Animal Crackers® still be available?

Animal Crackers® will now be sold as Simply Animals®. You’ll still find the same familiar snack you know and love, just under the Simply Animals® name.

Yes. Simply Animals® is now made without high fructose corn syrup or artificial colors, giving families a snack they can feel good about and enjoy just as much as before.

Are Simply Animals® peanut-free?
