Community Involvement: April Retrospective
Our Community Involvement Team was busy in April!
For the second year, we had the privilege to sponsor the Bell’s Big Bed Race fundraising event! What is this event, you ask? It’s a relay race where teams compete against each other to quickly assemble a bed, and it’s a blast. Fun fact: We won last year!
The funds all go to help support Bell’s emergency, transitional, and residential housing programs. These programs assist over 2,000 people in York and Adams counties each year.
A big thank you to our Organizational Development & Training Manager Eric Shumaker for finding this opportunity and repping us at the event this past weekend.
We also had a table at the Autism Expo & WALK for Autism as a Gold Sponsor. Just like Bell’s, it was our second year participating. Shout outs to Accountant Bridget Koller and Customer Service Associate Shanelle Hackman for representing Meiji America Inc. and Stauffer’s at the WALK!
The Autism Expo & WALK is Autism York’s yearly fundraiser that allows them to continue providing important programs to the ASD community. It provides an opportunity for families and communities to gather together to learn more about Autism York’s information and services.
